- Impersonates another person or entity.
- Misrepresents ownership, authorship, permissions, or rights.
4. Copyright and Rights Violations
You may not submit music, artwork, lyrics, recordings, images, text, or other materials unless you have the right to do so.
Copyright complaints and takedown procedures are governed by the Copyright & DMCA Policy.
5. Harassment and Abuse
You may not harass, threaten, intimidate, abuse, stalk, exploit, or target other users, artists, contributors, administrators, or platform representatives.
This includes conduct that occurs through Zippgun, during feedback sessions, through connected communications, or in relation to platform services.
6. Contributor and Customer Interactions
Customers and contributors must communicate professionally.
Users may not:
- Pressure contributors into off-platform work that violates Zippgun policies.
- Pressure customers into purchases or outside arrangements.
- Use sessions to harass, exploit, manipulate, or threaten another person.
- Circumvent approved platform workflows.
- Misrepresent platform rules or authority.
Contributor-specific conduct may also be governed by separate contributor agreements and onboarding policies.
7. Platform Circumvention
You may not use Zippgun to bypass Zippgun.
Examples of prohibited or reviewable circumvention include:
- Using Zippgun primarily to solicit off-platform services in violation of platform rules.
- Attempting to avoid payment workflows.
- Manipulating follow-up eligibility.
- Creating misleading duplicate requests.
- Misusing contributor contact information.
- Using customer or contributor information for unauthorized outreach.
8. Security Misuse
You may not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without authorization.
- Interfere with platform operation.
- Circumvent security features.
- Scrape the platform in a way that harms performance or violates rights.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools for abusive purposes.
- Upload or transmit malicious code.
9. Account Misuse
You may not:
- Create accounts using false or misleading information.
- Share login credentials in a way that compromises security.
- Sell, transfer, or misuse accounts.
- Create accounts to evade enforcement.
- Use another person's account without permission.
10. Misrepresentation
You may not misrepresent:
- Your identity.
- Your ownership of submitted materials.
- Your relationship with an artist, contributor, company, or rights holder.
- Your authority to act on behalf of another party.
- Zippgun services, policies, pricing, or outcomes.
- Platform endorsement or approval.
11. Reviews and Editorial Misuse
You may not attempt to manipulate editorial coverage through threats, harassment, false information, or bad-faith conduct.
Payment for a review service does not entitle users to a positive review or specific editorial outcome.
Editorial standards are governed by the Editorial Standards document.
12. Commercial Misuse
You may not use Zippgun to:
- Resell services without permission.
- Scrape or republish platform content as a competing service.
- Misuse contributor or customer information.
- Promote unrelated services through unauthorized platform behavior.
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
13. Enforcement
Zippgun may respond to violations by taking actions including:
- Warning the user.
- Removing content.
- Declining a submission.
- Restricting account features.
- Suspending or terminating accounts.
- Canceling or pausing services.
- Refusing future purchases.
- Reporting unlawful activity where appropriate.
- Taking other reasonable action to protect the platform and its users.
